Zane Hood, Sr

Mr. Zane Grey Hood, Sr., of Helena, died Monday, December 24, 2012, at the age of 78. Mr. Hood is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a choir member and life deacon at Shades Crest Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hilde Hood; Daughter, Demetria Hood; son, Zane Grey Hood, Jr. and his wife Amy; and 2 grandchildren, Zane Grey Hood III and Carley Renee Hood. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Shades Crest Baptist Church. Funeral Service will follow in the church at 2 PM, Dr. Jim Auchmuty officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church building fund.
