W.M. Grimes of Pelham, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the age of 88. He was owner and operator of Grimes Garage on old 31 highway for 45 years. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, and was a kind hearted man who would help anybody at anytime. Mr. Grimes was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Lee Grimes; and a son, Bobby Lee Grimes.
He is survived by a son, Neal Grimes (Nida); 3 grandchildren; and 3 sisters.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, from 10 to 11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
