Willie Simmons

Willie Mae Simmons, of Birmingham, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the age of 75.

She is preceded in death by her son, Nathaniel Simmons. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jacob Richard Simmons; sons, Sean Simmons and his wife, Dawn, and Shannon Simmons and his wife, Ashley; her daughter-in-law, Angelic Simmons; 8 grandchildren, Shauntiera, Victoria, Alexis, Sidney, Aubrey, Josh, Amaya, and Korri; 1 great granddaughter, Joy; her brother, Ernest Cohens; her great aunt, Bessie Cunningham; and her dearest cousin, Janet Costen and her husband, Richard.

The family will receive friends from 1-3, Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Pastor Angelic Simmons officiating.
