Willie Patton

of Hoover, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2008, at the age of 85. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hoover. Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, her parents, and four brothers. She is survived by a son, George Michael Patton (Susan); two, daughters, Susan Snyder and Martha Engstrom; two grandchildren, Sarah Patton and Derek Bennett; and a sister, Helen Kelly. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 4, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Randy Atkinson and Dr. Earl Tew officiating. Interment will be in Patton Chapel Cemetery.
