William Wilson, Sr

William Roy Wilson, Sr., of Hoover, AL, formerly Masontown, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at age 67. He was in the mining industry for 44 years and was an avid Alabama Football fan.

William is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice Bobbish Wilson; a son, William “Billy” Wilson, Jr.; two daughters, Janelle Thomas (Ronald) and Christie Kenes (Mike); grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob Thomas, and Baylee and Holly Kenes; and several nieces and nephews; and lots of friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2017, from 1-2 PM at Hunter Street Baptist Church in the Chapel and the service will follow at 2 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation after the service.
