William "Bill" Tanner, Sr.

William (Bill) Hayworth Tanner Sr. Born July 5th, 1942 went to be with the Lord on December 15th, 2023 at the age of 81.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Luther Wade Tanner Sr. and Sarah Claire Wells Tanner. His brother and sister, Luther Wade Tanner Jr. and Carolynn Canfeild. His mother-in-law Emma L Hammitt.

He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Teresa Tanner, his daughter and son-in-law Emmalee and Charlie Collier, granddaughter Rylynn Collier, His stepmother Peggy Tanner, brother and sister Hugh Tanner and Cindy Roton, loving caregiver Lily Mayfield, and son and daughter Bill Tanner Jr. and Tammy O'Sheilds and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Bill was a builder for 48 years, and an avid animal lover. His favorite hobbies were being on his tractor, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family. Bill was a great husband, father, and Paw. He will be greatly missed.
