William Anderson

William Randall Anderson passed away on March 11, 2023. Born August 1, 1962, Randy, as he was known by everyone, was raised in Alabaster Alabama. He was a proud member of the Thompson High School Class of 1981 and cherished the Friday nights he spent on the football field there as well as time spent as a firefighter for the City of Alabaster. He continued his education in business at Jefferson State College Birmingham and was a member of the Class of 1983. Randy was loved by many and had a heart big enough to love them all back. He enjoyed playing golf and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide play on Saturdays. His love for the Lord and the relationship with Him guided Randy throughout his life. Randy was a member of the Buck Creek Masonic Lodge# 410 Alabaster, AL, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Birmingham, and a member of the Zamora Shriners of Birmingham, AL. His work as a commodities broker filled him with joy and gave him a long list of friendships with many of farmers, growers, and other business associates.

Randy's memory and legacy will live on through his family and friends that loved him so much. He is preceded in death by his father William Sanford Anderson, his mother Mary Stanley Anderson, and his brother Marlon Wade Anderson. He is survived by his nephew Zachary William Anderson (Amy), his Number One Girl, Mila Kate Anderson, daughter of Zach and Amy, as well as a list of other relatives and dear friends he considered family. Visitation will be Friday held March 17, 2023, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Service will begin at 12:00. Brother Jerry Phillips will be officiating the service
