William Mdiv

WILLIAM JAMES LUPINACCI, MD, MDIV, of Hoover, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the age of 68. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William Edward and Mary Elizabeth Lupinacci. He was graduated from Pennsylvania State University, Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Medical School, and Beeson Divinity School. Dr. Lupinacci served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. He was most recently employed by The Doleys Clinic and Concentra. Dr. Lupinacci was loved by his patients and known by his co-workers as a caring, compassionate, and competent physician. Bill committed his life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1996. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol Ann Lupinacci; two sons, Timothy Michael Lupinacci (Ellen) of Vestavia Hills and Jeffrey Shawn Lupinacci (Mollie) of Tokyo, Japan; and three grandchildren, Jeremy Richard and Jennifer Shay Lupinacci, and Lisa Kathryn Lupinacci. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Lake Crest Presbyterian Church in Hoover. A memorial service will follow at the church at 3:00 PM, Rev. Thomas Joseph officiating. In lieu of flowers, Dr. Lupinacci requested memorials be made to The Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
