William Mcalister

Mr. William Herbert McAlister, 84, of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Bill was a member of Fairfield Highlands Church of Christ. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Bill was a lifelong member of Local 91 Plumbers and Pipefitters. Bill was preceded in death by his son William Wade McAlister, parents Nathan and Mamie McAlister, brothers Harold and Dan McAlister and sister Virginia Loveless. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Jean McAlister, his daughter Karen Pratt (Ronnie), daughter-in-law Susan McAlister, beloved grandchildren Ryan, Kristin and Katelyn Pratt, Christopher, Daniel, Nathan and Keri McAlister, all of which loved their wonderful paw paw. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 2 PM in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM.
