William Iii

of Helena, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the age of 60. He has been an employee of AIG for the past 38 years. He served in the US Army 101st Airborne division and was an avid Auburn Tiger fan.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina "Tina" Mae Thomas, father, William E. Thomas, Jr., and step-mother, Louise Thomas.
He is survived by his wife; Cindy Thomas, daughter; Alanda Thomas (Bryan Harrison), grandchildren; William, Michael and Landon, sister; Winona Thomas Viverette (Joseph G.), a number of extended family members and host of friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 8, 2015, from 5-7 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, November 9, 2015, at 11 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in Helena City Cemetery.
