William Hubert "Bill" Geisler passed away after a brief battle with cancer on February 2, 2014 in Birmingham, AL.
He was preceded in death by parents Glen and Estelle Geisler and beloved Aunt Margaret Geisler.
He is survived by son Gregory (Sarah), son, William Michael (Devery), and daughter, Carolyn Pendergast (Brent); grandchildren John, Michael, Sabrina, Rachel, Lauren, Audrey, and Sydney.
Born in Elizabethton, TN, in 1939, he was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and East Tennessee State University. A music major, he spent a lifetime involved in music, first as a high school band teacher and church organist and later in piano sales and financing. With great joy he served as an organist at a number of churches in East Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Ohio. He was passionate about food, tennis, and his daily devotionals. He touched the lives of many students, business acquaintances, and parishioners and will truly be missed.
A gravesite service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabetton, TN.
