William Darby

passed away on Monday, December 5, 2005, at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Louise Darby; a son, David Darby; two daughters, Dee Ann Darby Bradley and Dana Darby; three grandchildren, Jason Bradley, Amanda, Patrick and Jarred Darby; two brothers, Robert Darby (Goldie) and Jimmy Darby (Pauline). The family will received friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Rev. Sid Burgess officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Music Department at Edgewood Presbyterian Church of Homewood. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
