William Arthur

of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at the age of 84. He was a WWII veteran in the 8th Armored Division of the U.S. Army. Mr. Arthur was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ann Arthur. He is survived by two sons, William F. Arthur, Jr. (Linda) of Leeds and Robert E. Arthur (Mary) of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Margarete A. Roser (Don) of Hoover and Nanette A. Luce of Montevallo; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles M. Arthur (Carolyn) of Hoover. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 6, 2008, from 2-3 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Don Roser officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
