Waylon Blair

of Hoover, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at the age of 71. He was a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Hoover, and a past Mason and Shriner. Mr. Blair was a Realtor for 28 years and had just opened Blair Realty Company. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley McCullough Blair; 2 daughters, Deborah Murray (Rusty) and Gina Whitmarsh; grandchildren, Ariel Minshew and Mason Whitmarsh; and a sister, Joy Suarez (James). The family will receive friends on Monday, December 19, 2005, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Southern Heritage Cemetery with Dr. John Foster and Dr. Earl Tew officiating.
