Wanda Dugas passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, at the age of 92, in Birmingham, AL. Born Wanda Dorothy Milunski of Sophie and Anthony Mulinski in Amsterdam, New York. She was a 1940 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam. Employment included secretarial Work at GE and Housekeeping at New York Telephone Company from which she retired in 1989. She lived her final years with son and daughter-in-law celebrating all special events of life with grand and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Dugas (RoseLee), grandchildren: Dr. Jeffrey Dugas (Tracie) of Birmingham, AL, Jennifer Dugas Molner (Phillip) of Atlanta, GA and Jason Dugas (Elizabeth) of Charlottesville, VA, great grandchildren: Christopher and Carolina Dugas; Jonathan and Katherine Molner; Graham and Georgia Dugas, brother: Raymond Milunski (Louise) of Amsterdam, NY, nephews: Dr. Mark Milunski (Christine) of Maitland, FL and Fr. Brad Milunski, OFM Conventual of Silver Spring, MD, and a niece: Patricia Whittey Mengel (Frank) of Clermont, FL.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 AM with Fr. Brad Milunski, OFM Conv., Fr. Pasqual Iannotti and Fr. Bob DeMartinis concelebrating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Salvation Army of Birmingham, P.O. Box 11005, Birmingham, AL 35202 or Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Preserve Parkway, Hoover, AL 35226.
