Virginia Swatek

SWATEK, VIRGINIA, of Alabaster, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beaulah Norwood. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tom Swatek; four children, Van Shell (Sheila), Terri Matherson (Frank), Mike Swatek (Jennifer), and Kelly Brown (David); and thirteen grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2009, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be Monday, August 10, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, Father Ray Dunmeyer officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
