Vincent Lanzia

of Helena, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the age of 69. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and very active in The Sons of Italy. He graduated from Auburn University in 1964 and spent 20 years with Pitney Bowes. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rose Mary Lorino Lanzi; a son, Mark Lanzi and his wife, Robin; 5 grandsons, Stephen, Joseph, Matthew, Paulie and Anthony; and a brother, Alfred Lanzi (Wanda). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. There will be an inurnment immediately following at Our Lady of the Valley Columbarium. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic School, 5510 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, AL 35242.
