Vernon Bengtson

age 80, of Huntsville, formerly of Birmingham, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Wichita, Kansas. He was a Christian attending a Non-Denominational Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Jo Bengtson of Huntsville; two daughters, Ms. Roberta Lucille Bengtson of Hoover and Mrs. Cindy Ann Norman of Vestavia; two sons, Vernon Alfred Bengtson, Jr. of Lula, Georgia and David Eugene Bengtson of Birmingham; two step-sons, Tommy Anderson of Ardmore, AL and Jeff Anderson of Tampa, FL; ten grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; and three brothers, Marvin Bengtson of Holten, Kansas, Layle Bengtson of Topeka, Kansas and Paul Bengtson of Lawrenceville, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2007, from 6-9 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
