Vernell Calton

Vernell B. Calton, 85, entered into her Heavenly Home on October 30, 2023. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Calton; her son, Jack Earl Roland; and daughter, Kathy Marie Roland. She is survived by her daughters, Glenice Jones (Randall), and Nina Lenard (Aaron); her grandchildren Bobby Roland (Tabatha), Jeremy Tucker, Justin Lenard (Megan), Andrew Jones (Gina), and Nicholas Lenard. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

Vernell was truly loved by so many, and she loved so fully that she will be missed by all those that knew her.

The family will receive friends on November 8, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on November 8, 2023 beginning at 12:00 om with burial to follow at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Aaron Lenard, Randall Jones, Bobby Roland, Justin Lenard, Andrew Jones, and Nicholas Lenard.
