The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the nurses, aides and staff of Gentiva Hospice who assisted our Mother and our family in this difficult time. We would most importantly like to thank our precious aunt, Bettie Metcalf, who stayed with and cared for our Mother for months and months. Our mother referred to her sister as an “Angel” sent from Heaven and we would have to agree. We can’t imagine having gone through this chapter in our Mother’s life without her.
In honor of our Mother’s valiant fight with ovarian cancer, we are asking that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
