Valena Norris

Mrs. Valena R. Norris, age 53, of Hoover, AL, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a self-employed hairdresser at Illusion's Hair Salon for many years where she enjoyed her co-workers and made many friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, John Norris, and son, Cole Norris. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2012, from 11-1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, East. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Caring Bridge Organization or Memories of Love Foundation in Orlando, FL.
