Tommy Long

a lifelong resident of Rocky Ridge, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 80. He was a member and deacon of Rocky Ridge First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Long; 4 sons, Eddy Long, Randy Long (Gina), David Long and Dale Long; 2 daughters, Katrina Beck (Larry) and Sandra Edge (Keith); 7 grandchildren, Tonya Lagrone, Candace & Brandon Hoops, Heather Edge, Jason & Chris Long, Heather Letts and Lindsey Abbott; 4 great grandchildren, Madison & Mallory Lagrone, Lyric Letts and Allie Abbott; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Lowell Vann officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
