Todd Grant

Todd Tracey Grant a man of adventure passed away in his home , January 1st, 2024. Born on September 6, 1960 to William and Dorothy Grant of Birmingham, Al. He spent his life exploring the great outdoors.

His passion for hunting was only matched by his love for cooking. He was known for his ability to turn a simple meal into a gourmet feast and never disclosed his secret ingredients.

Todd is survived by: Son, Joshua Spangler. Daughter, August Johnson (Justin Johnson) her children Hannah Hubbard, Timothy Hubbard and Bella Hubbard. Daughter, Jordan Grant and her children Tanner Maddox, Tommy Jordan Knight, Triston Childers and Tatum Grant. Sisters Jo Lavender (Eugene Lavender) and Jerri Grant.

As we gather to say our goodbyes, we remember a man who lived life on his own terms, who loved the thrill of the hunt, and who found joy in the simple act of cooking for those he loved.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service to follow at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover.  Burial will conclude in the adjoining cemetery.
