Thomas Underwood

of Maylene, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008, at the age of 83. He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Maylene. He is survived by four sons, Tommy Underwood (Glenda) of Hoover, Wayne Underwood (Sue) of Alabaster, Mike Underwood (Zandra) of Vandiver, David Underwood (Michelle) of Alabaster; a daughter, Karen Scott (Thomas) of Verbena; and a brother, Horace Underwood (Kathleen) of Birmingham. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
