Thomas Peden

Thomas Rodney Peden, of Birmingham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the age of 84. He graduated from Howard College (Samford University) with a degree in Pharmacy and retired from Bruno's Pharmacy. Mr. Peden was a member of Oakmont Presbyterian Church for many years, participating in the choir and other church activities. Mr. Peden was known for his love of classical music, playing the piano, and attending Broadway Shows.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gail Joyce Peden and his son-in-law, Richard Neukam. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Peden Neukam and Renee Peden Epperson; his son, David Lance Peden (Suzanne); and 5 grandchildren, Matthew Garrett, Zachery Neukam, John David Peden, Joseph Epperson, and Michael Peden (Lauren).

The family will receive friends from 10-11, Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 11 in the chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Memorial donations may be made to Oakmont Presbyterian Church.
