Thomas Norman

of Hoover, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2005, at the age of 43. He graduated from Southern Technical Institute in Atlanta and worked as a structural engineer for Lowe & Associates in Marietta, GA. Thomas was an outdoorsman who loved to hike, rock climb and fish. He is survived by his parents, Joseph E. and Shirley Norman of Hoover; a brother, William Norman (Leslie) of Birmingham; two sisters, Pamela Harden (Christopher) of Chattanooga, TN, and Donna Holton of Knoxville, TN; two nieces, Kimberly Harden and Jamie Holton; and a great-niece, Kelsi Culver. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 26, 2005, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Eric Whelchel officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
