Thelma Thrasher

THRASHER, THELMA LEA, of Homewood, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the age of 93. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend; and she will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by two sons, John and Roy Thrasher. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Thrasher (Louise) and Troy Thrasher; four daughters, Julia Weems, Jean Bennett, Lydia Marohn (Buster), and Brenda Heisler (Jay); many grand- and great grandchildren; and a sister Dot Jurgens (Tony). The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, Tommy Glenn officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
