Terry Screws

Terry Screws, age 73, of Hayden, AL passed away on December 28, 2023.  Terry was born to Herman and Vertis Pearl Screws on August 29, 1950 in Birmingham, AL. Terry had a huge heart and was loved by many.  He enjoyed watching a good game of Alabama football, and looked forward to  spending time with family and friends on the lake. Terry spent time fishing and hunting but most of his true passion was loving on his grandchildren.

Terry had a successful career in sales for forty plus years with Ivan Leonard Chevrolet then retiring to enjoy spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Vertis Pearl Screws; and brother Ralph Scott.

Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Screws; daughter, Christy Hebert (Joe); brother, Craig Screws (Angie); grandchildren, Cole, Brittney, and Brinley; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3^rd 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service in his honor to follow in the chapel at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Burial will conclude at Patton Chapel Cemetery in Hoover.
