Terry Haltiwanger

Terry W. Haltiwanger, age 70, of Hoover, AL passed away at home on Monday. He was a graduate of Shades Valley High School and attended Jacksonville State University and UAB. He was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church. He worked at Royal Automotive for over 40 years. Terry loved Alabama football, NASCAR and he enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a devoted husband to Gail and father to his only son, Kevin. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin; and his parents, A.T. and Jackie Haltiwanger.

Terry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gail Haltiwanger; brother, Brian Haltiwanger (Shaun) of Houston, TX; sister, Linda Jennings (Marty) of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in Terry's honor on Friday, May 12, 2017, at 1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover with Rev. Reid Crotty officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Birmingham Humane Society or American Heart Association.
