Terry Dison

Terry Dison, of Birmingham, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013, at the age of 79. An adequate golfer, Terry served as president of the Altadena Country Club on several occasions. He loved his family, friends, and "the game." He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ruby Dison. He is survived by a son, George Steven Dison; 2 daughters, Terry Gray and Vickie Langston (Michael); a sister, Peggy Hazlerig (Jerry); 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be 10 AM, Friday, September 6, 2013, in the funeral home chapel, Jim Profetto officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the American Cancer Foundation in honor of Kenny Gray, his son-in-law, who passed within hours of Terry.
