Sylvia Hawn

Sylvia Ann Hawn, of Vestavia Hills, AL, formerly of Newton, NC, passed away July 15, 2012, at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. and Cleo Hawn. Sylvia is survived by her sister, Joyce H. Wilkinson (Wayne), two nieces; Pam W. Conklin (Charlie) of Hoover, AL, and Carol W. Causey (Wendell) of Marietta, GA, two nephews; W. Scott Wilkinson (Robin) of Acworth, GA, and Bradley M. Wilkinson (Laura) of North Haledon, NJ, five great nieces; Caitlin Causey, Lauren C. Trim (Jason), Christina Conklin, Leah Wilkinson, and Maya Wilkinson, one great nephew; Nathan C. Causey (Meagan), and also cousins and friends, all who mourn her passing. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 5, 2012, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM with a memorial service following at St. Mark United Methodist Church where she was a member. Reverend Steve West and Dr. Belon Friday will be officiating, vocalist, Reverend Patrick Friday and pianist, Norma Dean. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church or your chosen charity.
