Sydney Creamer

Sydney "Faye" Creamer, age 82 of Alabaster, AL passed away on May 7, 2021.

Born in Sycamore, Alabama, Faye began teaching Kindergarten at Pelham Baptist church before starting the Westwood Weekday program. She retired after seventeen years and loved her church family and mission work. She loved her family and loved to dance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Creamer (35 years); her parents; George Henry Chitwood and Dixie Louise Chitwood; her brother; George Thomas Chitwood, her sister; Annette Goodwin and a son, Daniel Lance Creamer.

She is survived by one son, Marty Creamer (Jennifer); two daughters; Paige Ashmead (Jason) and Misty Johnson (Gary); Grandchildren; Lindsey (Will), Garrett (Aimee), Patrick, Samantha, Keaton, Braden (Alma), Peyton (Lauren), Lance and Carson; great grandchild, Elliott Jane; a sister, Viria Riek (Larry); many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. at Westwood Baptist Church in Alabaster with Pastor Scott Morton officiating. The family will receive friends from

5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M at the church.   A private graveside will be held on Monday for immediate family at Jefferson Memorial Gardens South Cemetery.
