Steven Wells

Steve was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to William Howard and Betty Stough Wells on July 29, 1958. He passed away on February 13, 2025 after a brief illness.

He graduated from Midfield High School before attending Lawson State where he earned his associates degree in nursing. He was employed at UAB St. Vincent's East.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Marcus Wells. He is survived by his wife, LaJuana Moore Wells, his sister Lisa Wells Davis (Cliff), nieces Anna Cornelius Roberts (Nate) and Jordan Cornelius Crane (AJ).

The memorial service will be held Tuesday February 18, 2025 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, located at 2701 John Hawkins Parkway Hoover, AL 35244. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to your favorite charity.
