Steven Lamberth

Steve was born in Birmingham, AL, May 13, 1944 to James E. Lamberth and Ann Rose Lamberth and passed away Monday, September 15, 2014, at the age of 70. He attended Minor High School, Jefferson State and UAB. Steve served in the Marine Corp for 4 years and was very proud to serve his country. On Feb. 16, 1967, he married Sharon E. Owens and was married for 47 years. Steve started school at Carraway Methodist Hospital and worked in Radiology for 3 years. He continued school and was employed by Brookwood Medical Center as Chief Technician of the Nuclear Medicine Department and retired from there after 30 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon O. Lamberth, daughter, Stephanie Lamberth Millwee (Brian), brother, James E. Lamberth (Judy), niece, Kimberly Lamberth Black (Mike) and nephew, David Lamberth.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Alabaster United Methodist Church at 1 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
