Steve Pugh

of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the age of 78. He was a graduate of the University of Florida and Cumberland School of Law. Mr. Pugh practiced law in Birmingham for 13 years before opening his own Sales Company. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Joyce May Pugh of Birmingham; 2 sons, Gregory Pugh of Gainesville, FL, and Mark Pugh of Atlanta, GA; 2 daughters, Rhonda Peyton and Carolyn Munroe, both of Gainesville, FL; 3 grandchildren, Nicolette and Jesse Peyton, and Lauren Munroe; and a brother, Edward M. Pugh of Media, PA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Rev. Robert E. Mercer officiating.
