Stephen Farley

of Inverness, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at the age of 44. He was a member of the Cathedral Episcopal Church of the Advent and was the owner of Shamrock Hardscapes, Inc. Stephen was a devoted man, thoughtful and kind. He worshipped his wife and daughter and lived for them. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Ellis Farley, Jr., and his grandfather, James Morris Traywick. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cindy Golden Farley; a daughter, Mary Drucilla Farley; his mother, Frances D. Elliott (Sam) of Vestavia; a sister Lynn Farley Gray (Don) of Harpersville; a nehew, Matthew Gray; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Durwood and Drucilla Golden of Thorsby; special aunts, Clara Adkins of Dothan and Nida Godfrey (Jim) of Hoover; a grandmother, Ruth Traywick of Vestavia Hills. He also leaves behind his beloved four-legged friends, Coco, Pooker and Cookie. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will on Sunday, March 26, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pallbearers will be Pat McDonald, Randy Hughes, Bob Pierce, George Lambertson, Jim Godfrey, Alberto Alvarez, Victor Alvarez, Ruben Hernandez and Angel Garcia. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shelby County Humane Society. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
