Stephen Alan Beckers

Steve served a short time in the Army but was medically discharged after a knee injury. Steve had many positions over the years but his favorites were driving a wrecker and later working as a gas station attendant. He loved helping and meeting new people. He loved Alabama Football, NASCAR, his cat Fussy and sitting on his porch. Seeing people was the highlight of his day, and greeting his neighbors was very important to him. He loved making people smile.

Steve had a close family with lots of wonderful cousins, friends and a whole lot of love between them all.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2021 at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 2:00P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South in Hoover.
