Southa Sengdara was Born on December 25, 1957 to Khamla and Biane Sengdara in Vientiane, Laos. At the Age of 64 due to a series of health complications Southa transformed into divine energy on May 23, 2022, in Birmingham, AL. After the fall of the Kingdom of Laos during the Vietnam war, he survived the turbulent Nong Khai Refugee Camp with his two younger brothers. In a desperate attempt to escape the communist parties and surrounding countries in conflict. He managed to make it to the United States to Washington DC and Rochester, NY to live out the true American dream. Working hard and building his family with wife Dengthong Sengdara, together they moved to La Vergne, TN and started their own business serving the community for nearly 15 years. Southa was most known for his avid love of fishing, cooking and sports, particularly football.

Southa is survived by his wife Dengthong. His children; Steven (Mary),  Chanlieng (Adam), Bradley. His grandchildren; Kaston, Langston, Preston, and Jaxon. His brothers; Chinda (Phetmany),  and Inpahn. His sisters; Chun, Khan,  and Bun. His nieces; Amanda and Samantha (Brandon). His grandnieces; Ayla and Tammy-Mary.

The Sengdara family sincerely appreciates all the staff of Grandview Hospital Medical center for all their special care. The Family will hold a private service at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.
