Sophia Wright Huey, of Birmingham, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur M. Wright and Louis Huey; and her grandson, Jeremy Wright. She is survived by 2 sons, Jimmy Wright (Lenora) and Bobby Wright (Nina); 2 grandchildren, Jason Wright (Brandy) and Bevin Barber (Jeremy); and 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Logan, and Landon Barber, and Myles Wright.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30, Monday, January 9, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral will follow at 1:30 in the chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
