Sibyl Brown

age 84, of Gardendale, passed away on May 22, 2006. She was a member of Christway Church of God and retired from Liberty National. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Brown and Grandson Blake Brown. She is survived by three daughters, Marie Kelley (Harold), Sharon Pair and June Trammel; two sons, Chester Green Jr. and Clark Brown; a brother Ray Taylor (Virginia); two sisters Carolyn Carroll (Bobby) and Jean Snow; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. F.R. Bryant, Rev. O.N. Todd Jr. and Mr. Harold Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover, directing.
