Shirley Sundberg

Mrs. Shirley Elizabeth Sundberg, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the age of 76. Retired legal secretary after 45 years, Shirley had strong faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother, known as "Mimi." She was preceded in death by a son, Morris Dale Sundberg. She is survived by two sons, James Mark Sundberg (Emily) and Kenneth Roy Sundberg; two daughters, Regina Ann Wood (Michael) and Debbie Lee Sullivan (Randy); 9 grandchildren, James Dale Sundberg, Brandy Micheale Johnsey, Jessica Nicole Griffin, Shelley Dale Padgett (James), Brandon Helms Wood (Christina), Kelley Regina Stafford (Darrell), James Lee Sullivan (Mariah), Christopher Dale Sullivan (Lori) and Kenneth Roy Sundberg, Jr. (Bre); 18 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Harold Merrell and Pastor Mark Winslett officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
