of Hoover, passed away Friday, May 20, 2005, at the age of 78. She was born on October 28, 1926, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Michael J. and Sarah Bertha (Foote) Dunlevy. Her brothers Michael and Jerry, and sisters, Jo-Ann, and Georgia preceded her in death. Shirley married Richard James Keydoszius July 17, 1948. They have been residents of the Hoover area since 1961. She was a member of Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, and is a retired real estate agent and broker, enjoying more than 40 years in the business. She had her own company, Shirley "K" and Associates for many years. Mrs. Keydoszius loved life and had an undying devotion to her family and friends. She was previously a member of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) and served as secretary of the Birmingham Chapter. She is survived by her husband Richard; two sons, Dick (Carol) Keydoszius and Ronald Keydoszius; daughter, Joyce Watson-Mackey; son-in-law, Gary Mackey; grandchildren, Renee, Marc and Rachael Keydoszius, Stephanie Watson, Wayne, Eric, and Devin Mackey; brother, Wayne (Linda) Dunlevy; sisters, Doris (Paul) Monnin, Barbara, Nancy, Mary and Alice Dunlevy; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2005, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Peters Catholic Church, with services immediately following at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Shirley has asked that donations be made in her honor to The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), Consumers of Assertive Community Teams, 3125 Independence Drive, Suite 115, Birmingham, AL 35209, or the Building Fund at Saint Peters Catholic Church.
