Sherry Mcinnish

Sherry Michelle McInnish of Chelsea, AL passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2022 at the age of 48. She was born May 17, 1973 in Jasper at Peoples Hospital to Johnny B. Cohron and Margaret Diane Smith. Sherry was a graduate of Pelham High School class of 1991. Later on, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. She was working at Blue Cross Blue Shield at the time of her passing. Sherry loved to spend her time on the sandy shores of the gulf coast, long walks with her dog Stella, and spending time with her friends and family. Her friends and family will forever cherish the memories made over the years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Diane Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Daniel Ray McInnish, Jr.; a daughter, Amanda Michelle Arceneaux; a son, Alec Daniel McInnish; granddaughter, Avery Brooke Arceneaux; her father, Johnny B. Cohron; step-mother, Carolyn Cohron; a sister, Lindsey Hurd (Ron, Ryan, Reid and Riley); and a brother, Brian Cohron (Kenslee). She also leaves behind her beloved dogs Stella, Willow and Murphy as well as the newest addition of her cat, Ace.
A Celebration of Life will be held to remember the life of Sherry at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
