Scott Connor

SCOTT JOHN CONNOR, 54, of Hoover, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013. He was employed as an Executive Vice President of Bank Operations for Regions Bank for 32 years. He earned his bachelors degree in corporate finance from the University of Alabama in 1981; he was an avid Alabama football fan and a member of the Huntsville Red Elephant Club. Scott served on the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau, and is a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Catherine Bailey Connor; daughter, Kelli Connor Cohen (Adam); son, Tyler Connor, all from Hoover; parents, Jack and Jan Connor; brother, Bryce Connor; and sister, Linda Connor Howard (Woodward), all from Huntsville. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM, Friday, October 4, 2013, at Riverchase United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at 3 PM, Dr. Jim Savage officiating. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
