Savannah Pender

of Alabaster, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at the age of 21 days. "Our precious angel Savannah Grace brought untold joy to our lives in the short time she was here. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Savannah Grace was truly a gift from God, and we cherished every moment we had with her." She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Conrad Abernathy. She is survived by her parents, Heath and Lisa Pender of Alabaster; 3 brothers, Nathan, Andrew and Luke; her grandparents, Gary and Angie Pender of Clay, and Judy Abernathy of McCalla; and her great grandmother, Mary McKee of Pleasant Grove. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30, 2007, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church in Alabaster. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Matt Haines officiating. Interment will be in McCalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Savannah Grace Fund at Westwood Baptist. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
