Sarah Dean Privett Steeley went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 21, 2022.
Dean lived and loved fully for 90 years. She was a devoted wife to Larry Joe Steeley, Sr. for 60 wonderful years. Dean and Joe spent their years together raising a family and starting multiple businesses, including Rainbow Technology, which was woman-owned by herself since 1971 and still operates as a family-run business today.
Besides being a successful business woman, Dean loved to travel and had an eye for fashion. She will always be remembered for her outstanding beauty; she had the most beautiful light-blue eyes and a smile that lit up every room she entered. She will also be remembered for her exceptional kindness and generosity to those around here. At any given opportunity Joe and Dean would graciously open their home to friends and family for birthday parties, celebrations and even wedding ceremonies. Most of all, Dean will be remembered for her infinite love for her family. One of Dean’s motto’s was “love makes the world go ‘round” and she truly lived that motto out all the days of her life.
Dean is survived by her sons, Larry Joe (Renee) Steeley, Jr. and Mark Steven (Lisa) Steeley; step-children, Debbie Jo Steeley (Rick) McDurmin, Larry Wayne (Trisha) Steeley; her grandchildren Rick, Angie, Chris, Tiffany, Justin, Jacob, Whitney, Hunter, Cathrine, Landon, Alec and Ryan. Dean’s Great-grandchildren include Whitney, Jessica, Tristan, Tinsley, Jackson, Greyson, Rylee, Solomon, Jovie and Leni.
