Sara Stevenson

of Hoover, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008, at the age of 51. She was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church for the past 14 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jackie W. Stevenson of Hoover; two daughters, Courtney and Elizabeth Stevenson of Hoover; a granddaughter, Grace Stevenson; her parents, Aubrey and Jean Dixon of Tuscumbia; two brothers, Dane Dixon of Tuscumbia and Mark Dixon (Deborah) of Huntsville; two nephews; and a niece. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at 11 AM at Riverchase United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jim Savage officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
