Sandra Warren

of Helena passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the age of 66. Sandra was born in Atlanta GA, grew up in Marietta where she graduated from Marietta High School. She then attended The University of Georgia where she majored in art. Sandra was the first freshman ever selected as Homecoming Queen, a member of Phi Mu Sorority, Arnold Air Society Angel Flight, and a Miss Pandora Finalist. She was preceded in death by her father, John William Wyatt, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ernie Warren, Helena, AL; three children, Wade Warren (Eileen), Stacy Warren-Crews (Greg), Wyatt Warren (Sarah); two grandchildren, Garrett and Madeline; her mother, Sammie Wyatt; and her brother, John William Wyatt, Jr. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in her memory. She is deeply missed by her loving family.
