Samuel Bain

of Birmingham, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2006, at the age of 86. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice D. Bain; a sister, Annie Bee Ellen, of Talladega; two nephews, Julius Jones, of Bryson City, NC, and Mike Bain, of MS.; two nieces, Betty Tucker and Barbara Linscot, both of Weaver, AL. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Alan Carter officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
