Sam Levio

Mr. Sam A. Levio, age 89, of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. A member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church for 42 years. A US Army veteran having served in WWII. The owner of Arctic Ice in Ensley for 55 years. He was preceded in death by his son Felix Levio and daughter Ramona Levio. He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Rosalee Levio; two sons, Sam J. Levio (Shannon) and Patrick Levio; two daughters, Yolanda Wyatt (Randy) and Evelyn Farquhar (Lynn); eight grandchildren; Chris, Tiffany and Laura Levio, Grant and Carlena Wyatt, Emily and Garrett Farquhar and Ashley Mayo. Rosary service will be held on Friday August 13, 2010, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church at 5:00 pm, followed immediately by visitation until 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 10 am, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to St. Jude Hospital, Memphis TN.
